Extinguish the fire when smoke odour causes inconvenience, irritation or discomfort to others.

No person shall set or maintain an open air fire without a valid fire permit issued pursuant to this By-law.

All burning in the Town of Parry Sound requires a fire permit.
Smoke nuisance (Open Air Burning Guidelines)
Your fire must be extinguished when conditions cause an odour of smoke to create any inconvenience, irritation or discomfort to others.

The By-law does not exempt any person from their responsibility involving the impact of smoke on the surrounding air quality.
