Can I burn today in Joly?

A permit is required

Joly’s by-law does not set out what each fire danger rating allows, so this page cannot tell you whether today is a burning day. Today’s rating is beside this, and the fire hall below has the answer.

A rating is not permission. Joly requires a permit, and a fire ban can be declared at any time. Sundridge Strong Fire Department (Fire Chief Andrew Torrance) serves the Township of Joly; the South River Machar Fire Department (Fire Chief Risto Maki) also serves part of the Township. Permits are decides — not this page.
